Seem some rumors online that G-Sync will not work with HDMI 2.1, any idea if this is true with the 4K 144hz Spectrum model?
Or is it an Nvidia driver thing rather than a hardware thing?
I ask as planning to use with a 3080 so will be using either DP 1.4a or HDMI 2.1, HDMI looks to have better bandwith but if it does not support G-Sync that is a bit of a deal breaker for gaming.

VRR (HDMI version of GSYNC) currently works with RTX 3000 series cards and LG OLED CX TV’s. So I think it would come down to driver/scalar implementation, not a hardware thing.

Thank you for confirming Lore_Wonder.
Looks like I will be using HDMI for my PC again for the first time in nearly a decade
