Lots of excitement right now. Spectrum is being received all around the world, and it’s amazing to see topics being created about their experiences with their shiny new monitor!
We have already sent a few units to reviewers who expressed a strong interest in Spectrum.
Of course everyone has their own favourite tech reviewer, so let us know about your preferences.
If you come across any reviews please post them into the #community:media-awareness category. We will collect these into a single topic for convenience.
that’s right gamers nexus mainly does gpu, motherboard, cpu, coolers, chassis and consoles. but hey you guys can be the first monitor for him to review! Gamers Nexus - YouTube
Whoever the reviewers would be, it makes sense to specifically inform them about the really exclusive feature of Eve Spectrum — pixel-perfect (integer) scaling.
It may also make sense to emphasize that this is not just for retrogaming. The extremely important general usecase applicable to pretty everyone is scaling Full HD (1920×1080) to 4K in modern 3D games for the purpose of increasing performance with no unreasonable blur-caused quality loss compared with a same-size monitor with native Full HD resolution.
Otherwise the reviewers might focus on something generic like HDR while completely missing pixel-perfect scaling as a feature though Eve Spectrum are the world’s first and only monitors with built-in pixel-perfect scaling.
Prad.de does make some pretty good reviews, and is popular even with an international audience who simply translate the content to be able to understand it. Keep in mind that we’d like to hear all your suggestions, and while not all of them might get to review Spectrum, it’s worth it to at least mention them.
Austin Evans would also be a great one. he has over 5 million subscribers and he reviews pretty much anything tech related. youtuber Bitwit is a fun guy to watch.
In my objective opinion, Eve have to send to these reviewers next : a5hun > Hardware Unboxed > Bijan Jamshidi > Optimum Tech > Linus Tech Tips > PC Monitors > TFT Central > RTINGS and of course… Chief Blur Busters becouse without him, there wouldn´t a good quality to using the blacklight strobbing in all frecuencies
