I’m looking for a USB Type-B to USB Type-A cable to connect my hopefully incoming Spectrum 4k which is rated for 10Gbps, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere besides the
All I can find is 5Gbps rated ones (USB 3.0 and not 3.1) on Amazon EU.
Any advice on this? What do you guys use?
Also, is the connector type on the monitor 2.0 B or 3.0 B?
Sorry I can’t be of much help to find another cable for you. But I can tell you that we use 3.0 standard for USB-B, so you will go with the connector type on the right.
I don’t think that there are too many companies making USB 3.x type B cables that are officially rated to 10Gbps.
The good news is that there’s no significant difference between a 5Gbps and 10Gbps cable, other than the quality of the wiring. If you get a good quality cable, there’s a reasonable chance that it can be pushed to 10Gbps even if it’s only technically rated for 5Gbps.
