Nvidia Control Panel says that the panel doesn't support hdcp

I’m running windows 10 with an Nvidia RTX 3090 connected through a display port cable 1.4. When I go into the Nvidia control panel to check the HDCP status it says it’s not compatible with this screen, but I know in the specs it does say this screen is HDCP 2.2. I running firmware 105 and using an HDCP compatible Display Port Cable.
Link for the cable.

Any advice to get this to work would be appreciated.

Hi @angelde90,

That’s odd, since it should not be a problem if all components tick the boxes. And yes, Spectrum supports HDCP 2.2.

The only possible issue might be the cable. Have you tried using a different cable?

What happens if you turn the screen off, wait 5 seconds, then turn it back on again?

I sometimes find that my Spectrum doesn’t get picked up as G-Sync compatible after Windows boots. Turning the monitor off and on again causes the GPU to re-detect the Spectrum and this seems to make everything work correctly again.

This did work Nvidia now sees the HDCP connection. Unfortunately, Netflix still won’t give me 4k.
