The battery in the pen goes positive end towards the tip. It can take up to 90 seconds for the pen to be recognised after the battery has been changed.
I’ve seen 2 or 3 difference posts talking about how removing a little paper from your pen that lists the battery orientation is not recommended. Have a second hand Eve V, with no paper in my pen listing the orientation.
Nowhere can I find what is the proper orientation. And frustratingly I tried both and neither is reactivating my pen. You need to put the battery in and wait 60 to 90 seconds. This is why the Eve V needs a manual and a proper FAQ.
