Does the Eve keyboard use encryption in Bluetooth mode?

Given the other challenges of dropping keystrokes and trackpad issues for left-handers, I’m wondering if this keyboard that is on the V uses encryption for transmission? My Microsoft Surface keyboard uses: AES over Bluetooth LE SSP of Passkey and my Apple keyboards all use encryption, but I do know some cheaper PC keyboards do not.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

isn’t bluetooth always encrypted?

indeed it should be with basic Bluetooth standards. I realize the keysniffing issue is with non BT keyboards
