Backlight dimming option greyed out?

Hello

I cannot access the back light dimming option, hdr off, tried both color spaces.

I read @Lore_Wonder say in another thread recently that this feature will be actually be coming in a future firmware update? If so,

  1. When is that update expected?
  2. My concern is that I can always see the backlight glaring slightly from the top and bottom of the screen. Would global dimming remove this effect? Ideally so I will hardly even notice the backlight during use.
