TL;DR - I absolutely love this monitor and am extremely happy I bought in early. For those who cancelled their order (if that was possible) or those who didn’t place their order when the monitor was cheap, you missed out on an awesome deal. Tested the following:
Gaming - no response lag, smooth 144hz, didn’t notice any blooming effect in HDR or non HDR content. Played in ULTRA Settings.
HDR600 - Confirmed using VESA DisplayHDR Test
Movies - Confirmed HDR works beautifully, also NON-HDR content has clear clean and wonderful playback even if you leave HDR mode ON. Some additional notes in the section regarding subtitles causing image to brighten and darken using MPC-HC.

I got my monitor today, set it up, and so far I love it. This is my first high refresh monitor, I’ve been using 59/60hz my whole life (I’m 30 now lol). I haven’t done any calibrating yet. Before I begin my lil review, I’d like to say this is the best 3-prong power cable I ever used it’s so light and flexible making it so much easier to put into my wire management sleeves 
.
If you encounter the same shipping issue I did, fear not! high chance your monitor is perfectly fine. I went to pick mine up from a Postal office pick up location since I wasn’t going to be home and I saw two fairly large holes in the back of the shipping box (outer box). After unpacking it I saw no damage to the monitor box itself, opening the monitor box there’s quite a bit of packing in there too. @ Eve team THANK YOU FOR NO STYROFOAM! I wish more companies would stop using Styrofoam.
I absolutely love this stand. It’s light but solidly built feels really premium without that “premium weight”.
My environment:
Black out curtains so my room is constantly dark regardless of light outside, zero reflections so keep that in mind.
4 Monitors (3 - 27" including the Spectrum, 1 55" x900e tv)

NVidia Control Panel says “Selected Display is not validated as G-Sync Compatible”, but was still able to save G-Sync settings.
UPDATE as of August 1st 2021 the GSYNC error has been corrected and is 100% recognized by GSYNC.

Butter smooth 144hz, beautiful crisp picture quality with awesome blacks. Font is nice and crisp.

Butter smooth, I don’t think RL has an HDR mode so I didn’t see any colour differences when changing up the settings. I didn’t notice any blooming effect either.

Valorant
Results:
One thing to note about Valorant is that this game uses real-life camera HDR captures or a precomputed game capture from several points on the level for HDR quality however there is no HDR setting to turn on or off. The assumption here is HDR is automatic if tech is present. Ran smooth, I can see the difference when HDR is on and off and it looks really good with HDR on, note FPS does drop a tiny bit (during introduction/training it was 175fps-185fps with HDR off, 155fps-165fps HDR ON). Since this is a shooter I’d also like to mention response time was perfect, didn’t experience noticable delay/lag.

Again my camera didn’t a great job of capturing the difference but the the HDR on image in person you’ll see more natural looking tones vs the HDR off.
Phantasy Star Online 2:
Results:
Butter smooth, PSO2 did not have an HDR setting but you could see small difference between off and on so I left HDR on via Windows and the game looked fantastic. I took lots of pictures of this one since it was the last test.

Overall, I’m extremely happy with Eve Spectrum. I may have gotten lucky but I don’t hear any white noise/whine from the monitor BUT having all my rtx 3080 display ports and hdmi port in use did cause coil whine in the gpu lol so if you’re in my position and you hear noise and think it’s your monitor, try disconnecting one or two and restarting then test Spectrum again and see if the noise is still there. My unit is perfectly quiet.
Side note, I haven’t played with any of the settings so I’m not sure if that plays a role but some installers font/window/colour is a bit blurry but not all so I don’t think it’s even a setting I need to mess with.
To that one dude I saw who talked smack on YouTube trying to convince people not to buy Spectrum because of what happened in the past with Eve, EAT YOUR HEART OUT SUCKA. My only regret is not buying two more lol

Please note I am not an expert in HDR or Monitor performance but will do my best to provide as much information as I can so that you can perhaps come to a conclusion. I also don’t have an instrument to measure with so I’m going based on screen info using the DisplayHDR test from VESA.
I’ll be conducting a test later today after work which will compare some HDR content recommended by VESA. As well as some HDR movies that I have.

Doing some googling I found that I don’t necessarily need to do the tests itself (especially since I don’t have a measuring tool) the summary pages gives you the results and its within ~50nits

Okay so unfortunately I couldn’t find my pro camera so I had to use my phone which really isn’t ideal as it tends to either wash it out or oversaturate but I’ll post anyway so you can get some idea.
The movie tested Greenland 10bit HDR. I used VLC Media Player since it has native support for HDR films and MPC Player with MadVR to get HDR support in it.

So as you can see HDR does indeed work as the burning in and crazy saturation in the images are evident of HDR playback with no HDR on.

My cell phone camera doesn’t do it justice, both youtube streams looked REALLY good with HDR content.

As you can see above the standard no-hdr image has an almost stale colour balance. the VLC and MPC playback with HDR on shows far more colour and alot more vibrant, please note that theres a heck of a lot of saturation caused by my cell phone reduce that saturation by like 30-40% and then you’ll have the really beautiful HDR quality that I see on my monitor. In the corners of the monitor you see “white blooming” that’s caused by my phone it’s not actually on the monitor itself
Another thing I want to point out if you look at the VLC vs MPC with HDR ON you’ll see the subtitles, in the MPC the subtitles are thick white and it does actually cause the screen to flicker bright and then dim back to natural playback when the subtitles vanishes, I tried fixing it couldn’t do it so I recommend using VLC player for playback as it doesn’t seem to have this issue.
Now I figured I’d try content that isn’t HDR and see what happens if I play back with HDR mode turned ON for windows.
So here are some pics with HDR turned on in Windows but the content doesn’t have HDR properties.

So as you can see it still shows the content perfectly keeping HDR on with content that does not have HDR playback. The saturation you’re seeing once again is from my Asus Zenfone 6 taken with normal photo settings (the HDR mode was causing even more saturation lol)

Quick wobbling update — I didn’t plan for this it just kind of happened…
I’d like to confirm that the base /stand holding the monitor is REALLY stable. Sometimes when I get stressed out at work I can’t help but shake my leg which shakes my desk. My 2 old samsung monitors (in pics above) would wobble left and right like crazy depending on intensity. the Eve Spectrum however has remained pretty damn stable…so I shook my leg even harder to see if it would wobble and it does but ever so slightly…It wasn’t until I started shaking my desk with my hand did it start to move a bit lol
So…yeah, super random, but in case anyone was wondering about this super random thing I’d say the mount and stand is pretty damn good . I also have one of those ikea desks that are somewhat stable so I’m sure that helped but yeah.
anyways, hope more people have received their monitors and are loving it as much as I am.
